Encepur® is an inactivated vaccine developed for active immunisation against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). This serious viral infection, transmitted by ticks, can lead to neurological complications such as meningitis and encephalitis.
Encepur® is an inactivated vaccine that protects against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE), a viral infection transmitted through tick bites. TBE can cause serious illness, including inflammation of the brain and nervous system.
Encepur® is used for the active immunisation against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE), a viral infection spread by tick bites.
It is intended for:
Residents in endemic regions where TBE is common
Travellers to affected areas, especially during spring and summer months
Outdoor workers and nature enthusiasts frequently exposed to ticks
Children and adults who need reliable protection from TBE-related neurological complications

Encepur® is indicated for the prevention of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) and should be administered in accordance with official vaccination guidelines. The vaccine is suitable for both adults and children, with schedules tailored to specific age groups and risk levels.Please consult the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC) and Patient Information Leaflet for complete prescribing information, contraindications, and possible side effects.
